Service Account

  • Click Service Account tab from the Starlink screen to open the Service Accounts screen.

  • This tab is used to link the Starlink Service accounts to the Kognitive Cloud Portal. The user must link their Starlink Service Account to extract the data from their Starlink terminals and view it in the Kognitive Cloud Portal.

  • This tab also allows users to create Starlink Pooled accounts. This feature provides flexibility by enabling users to divide the main Starlink quota into sub-pools, which can then be used individually.

Permissions

  • Select the Sub Organization from the dropdown menu.

  • In the Role field, select the Access Privilege that admin wishes to edit.

  • All the features available to allow/disallow under the selected access privilege will be listed below.

  • Select the image-20250312-090525.png toggle button of the feature to allow/disallow the corresponding feature.

  • Select the Save button to save the changes.

  • The access privilege gets modified according to the features allowed/disallowed for all the users associated with the selected organization.

  • This grants the admin greater authority and flexibility in determining which Starlink features users can access.

  • Please note that if a sub-organization admin wants to grant a specific permission to a lower-level sub-organization, their account must first have that permission. If not, they must obtain it from their parent organization.

  • In other words, an admin account cannot grant permissions for a feature it does not have access to.

Note: It is recommended that users log out and log back in after any permission update to ensure the latest access privilege changes take effect.
