Organization Settings

  • The Organization Settings tab enables the user to configure settings for an entire Organization or Sub Organization. This tab will be available only for the users with Admin Access Privilege.

  • Click the Organization Settings tab in the Account Management screen.

  • In the Organization field, select the Organization or sub-organization from the dropdown menu. The logged in admin Organization is populated by default here. This is the organization corresponding to the email ID used to login.

  • The dropdown list consists of all the sub-organizations under logged in admin organization.

Organization Settings

  • The user can configure settings for the selected organization using the different fields available under the Organization Settings tab.

  • The White Label field shows whether white labeling is enabled or disabled for the selected organization. The organizations that have white labeling enabled have their own logos displayed across their products and use their own customized nomenclatures to refer their devices and applications.

  • The Documents field enable the user to access the Knowledge Center page. The Knowledge Center page contains the online help, How To Guides and documentation for all the available products.

  • The Logo field shows the logo of the Organization for the organizations that have white labeling enabled.

  • The Sport Domain Name field shows the link to access the Kognitive Cloud application.

  • The Sender Email Address field shows the email address from which the selected Organization receives the auto generated emails and notifications.

  • The Email Signature field shows the signature (email footer) that will be used in the auto generated emails and notifications.

  • The White Label, Logo, Sport Domain Name, Sender Email Address and Email Signature fields are configured in the backend or using the Kapture application.

  • Click Edit button to edit the remaining fields.

  • Click the toggle image-20240516-164625.png button in the Two Factor Authentication field to enable two factor authentication for all users of the selected Organization. After enabling two factor authentication, when the users attempt to login with their credentials they will receive an OTP to their registered email address. Users have to provide the OTP to validate and login into their products.

  • In the Two Factor Authentication Timeout field, enter the number of days for which two factor authentication can be paused after one successful verification. If Timeout is set as 0, then OTP will be asked every time on login.

  • The Knowledge Helper field shows the link to access the Knowledge Center page. Click the link to open the Knowledge Base in a new window. The Knowledge Base page contains the online help, How To Guides and documentation for all the available products.

  • Click the toggle image-20240516-164625.png button in the Captive Access field to enable Captive Access for the users of the selected organization. Only when this is enabled, users will be able to see the Captive Admin option in their Kognitive Cloud application left menu bar.

  • Click the toggle image-20240516-164625.png button in the Password Expiry field to enable Password Expiry for the users of the selected organization.

  • In the Password Expiry Timeout field, enter the number of days after which a password should expire. When an user account crosses the specified amount of days, the user will have to set a new password for their account.

  • The Organization Settings screen provides options to send notification about the Alerts raised in the system to the users of the selected Organization.

  • The notification can be sent using two mediums. It can be sent to selected email addresses and to Microsoft Teams channel.

  • In the Name field under the Notification section, enter the name of the teams channel.

  • In the Webhook URL field, enter the Webhook URL of the required Microsoft Team channel.

  • In the Email Addresses field, enter the email addresses to which the notification about the alerts should be sent. The email addresses should be comma separated.

  • Click Update button to save the changes.
