Access Privileges
There are four primary Access Privilege types, namely:
Admin Access
Full Access
Limited Access
Read Access
The functionalities that the user can use in each of our products varies for each type of Access privilege. The below page explains the functions that are available for the user in each type.
Admin Access
All the service functions available for the user in Admin Access Privilege type are highlighted in Green and the ones not available are highlighted in Red.

Full Access
All the service functions available for the user in Full Access Privilege type are highlighted in Green and the ones not available are highlighted in Red.
*Note: Users that have access to only one site will not be able to access Account screen in Kognitive Cloud even if they have Full Access privilege. Users must have access to more than one site to access the Account screen.

Limited Access
All the service functions available for the user in Limited Access Privilege type are highlighted in Green and the ones not available are highlighted in Red.

All the service functions available for the user in Read Access Privilege type are highlighted in Green and the ones not available are highlighted in Red.

Read Access
Custom Access Privilege
The access privilege types such as Admin Access, Full Access, Limited Access and Read Access contain standard functionalities and they cannot be customized for each individual user. Therefore, when a user has a specific access requirement that is not covered by the three available access privilege types, we can create a customized Access Privilege and provide exclusive functionalities as per the requirement of the user.
For example, we can create a unique access privilege type called Custom Access. This privilege type can be given access to special features or functionalities that user requires. These features will not be available in other privilege types such as Admin Access, Full Access, Limited Access and Read Access.

Other than these primary access privileges, there are few independent access privileges based on the type of product. Those access privileges are:
Edge Read Access
The Edge Read Access privilege provides the user read access to the Edge Portal. The user will not have access to services in our other products.
All the service functions available for the user in Edge Read Access Privilege type are highlighted in Green and the ones not available are highlighted in Red.

SPORT Read Access
The SPORT Read Access privilege provides the user read access to the Kognitive Cloud Portal. The user will not have access to services in our other products.

SPORT Read Access
Starlink Access
The users with only the primary Full Access, Read access, Limited Access and Admin Access Privileges cannot access the Starlink screen in Kognitive Cloud. To access it, the users have three more access types available.
These access types are dedicated to Starlink cloud:
Starlink Access - The user will be able to access only the Dashboard, Usage and Insights tabs of the Starlink screen. They will not have access to the Plan creation, Plan usage, Quota and Admin operations.
Starlink Full Access - The user will be able to access the Dashboard, Usage, Quota, Insights, User Terminals and Audit Logs tabs. The user will also have Read Only access to Plans, Plans Usage, Service Account and Service Line tabs.
Starlink Admin Access - The user can access all the tabs of the Starlink screen. They can perform the Starlink Admin operations also.
These details can be viewed pictorially in the below figures. All the tabs available for the user in Starlink Access Privilege types are highlighted in Green, Read-Only tabs are highlighted in Yellow and the ones not available are highlighted in Red.

Starlink Admin Access
The users with only Starlink Access, Starlink Full Access or Starlink Admin Access can access only the Starlink screen in Kognitive Cloud. They cannot access the other screens available in Kognitive Cloud such as Sites, Trends, Threats, Map, Reports, Account Management, Alerts, Audit Logs, Tickets, Software Configuration, Inventory, Hub, Kontrol, Content Filter, Captive Portal and Topology. These are stand-alone IAM policies. But these access privileges can be used as “Add On” policies for Full Access Clients.
The user can add “Starlink Access” to “Full Access” to get the existing + Starlink access.
The user can add “Starlink Admin Access” to “Full Access” to get the existing + Starlink Admin access.
CAN Admin Access
The CAN Admin Access privilege provides the user admin access to the CAN Portal. The user will not have access to services in our other products.
All the service functions available for the user in CAN Admin Access Privilege type are highlighted in Green and the ones not available are highlighted in Red.

The CAN Limited Access privilege provides the user limited access to the CAN Portal. The user will not have access to services in our other products.
